The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
