The assault caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
